Scottish Home Renewables Loan Scheme Extended
The Scottish government have announced an extension to the Energy Saving Scotland Home Renewables Loan Scheme into 2013/2014.
The loans are for up to £10,000 interest free per household. With the demand at an all time high the extension will help more Scottish households fund the installation of renewable systems in their homes. This will help towards achieving Scotland's climate change targets.
To apply for a loan,
- Applicants must download and complete an aplication form
- Get an energy report recommending the renewables system you wish to install (Energy Performance Certificate EPC or energy report provided by your local Energy Saving Scotland Advice Centre)
- Get a quote from an MCS certified installer like Ecoliving.
- Post all above documentation to the Services Delivery Team, Energy Saving Trust, OCean Point1, 94 Ocean Drive, Edinburgh, EH6 6JH.
