Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan Air Source Heat Pump Range
As with any heating system, the size (power output) of air source heat pump required for your property is determined, chiefly, by the heat demand i.e. how much heat energy is required to maintain a constant temperature of 21°C at the design outdoor temperature e.g. -3°C.
The range of Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan air source heat pumps includes 4 models designed to meet the heating needs of properties from flats to larger homes. The complete air source heat pump system includes a hot water cylinder and connecting pipe work, circulation pumps and controller. The hot water cylinder is sized, like the heat pump, by Ecoliving following the survey and discussion about occupancy and hot water requirements. Standard and slimline cylinder options are available as well as the packaged cylinder where doesn't look out of place in full view in the utility or kitchen.
The Ecodan W50 air source heat pump works at variable capacities between 1.5kW and 5.2kW and is ideal for flats, smaller existing dwellings and new build homes.
The Mitsubishi Ecodan W85 is the most installed air source heat pump in the range because it's variable capacity of between 3kW and 8.5kW covers the heat load of a majority of homes.
HW112 & HW140 (PUHZ-HW140VHA/YHA-BS)
With an operating output of between 5kW and 14kW, the double fan Ecodan HW112 and HW140 air source heat pumps are ideal for those larger properties with higher heating and hot water demands. The Mitsubishi Ecodan HW140 is also available as a 3 phase unit.
Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan air source heat pumps are all MCS certified products and guaranteed for 3 years.
