Ecoliving South West is delighted to see the addition to the team of Aidan Stanford as Senior Technical Renewables Engineer.
Following the completion of his 5 year plumbing apprenticeship, Aidan worked as a foreman for a building services company, supervising refurbishment and new build projects including schools, hotels, hospitals and housing. He then moved on to the renewable energy sector in 2009 and has been working on a range of technologies including heat pumps, solar thermal and predominantly biomass.
Projects have included biomass district heating schemes and Aidan has had overall responsibility for the installation of pre-insulated heat mains between buildings, heat exchange units, heat meters and controls as well as fitting out plant rooms on projects up to 600kW output.
Speaking of his new role with Ecoliving, Aidan commented, "Renewables is the future and I am excited to be working as part of an experienced and specialist team with a total focus on delivering domestic and commercial renewable energy solutions."
Ecoliving South West Director, Nicola Haine said, "We are seeing an increase in demand for the one-stop design, supply and installation service we deliver and see this continuing with the introduction of the Renewable Heat Incentive for householders this spring, so we are delighted to have someone of Aidan's ability and experience join the team."
